Kia ora, I’m Tania Jeffs, Founder and Owner-Operator of YourNZDriver.
I am proudly Tongan-born, Māori and English—a true Kiwi who has called Aotearoa New Zealand home for more than four decades. Growing up here has shaped not only my deep love for this country’s landscapes, but also my connection to its people, cultures, and stories.
My journey into tourism began in 2017, following a successful 24-year corporate career in Sales and Marketing. Seeking a new challenge—one rooted in people, service, and authenticity—I transitioned into tourism and never looked back.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of operating everything from large luxury coaches to the iconic double-decker Hop-On Hop-Off bus on Waiheke Island. Today, I specialise in private chauffeured touring, personally hosting and coordinating experiences for international travellers, high-profile guests, executives arriving via private aviation, and discerning clients seeking something truly bespoke.
From souvenir shopping and indulgent soaks at Polynesian Spa, to the Tongariro Crossing, the glow-worm caves of Waitomo, and the magic of Hobbiton—no two journeys are ever the same. Every itinerary is tailored, unhurried, and thoughtfully designed around you.
What makes YourNZDriver different is our heart. I share New Zealand through the lens of my own diverse heritage—Tongan, Māori, and English—a blend I affectionately call my “fruit salad” identity. Storytelling, connection, and genuine care are woven into every journey.

I used Tania's company services from AKL international to Waipu, about 2.5 hours North, and back at the end of my trip. Her pre-trip communication was excellent. She herself was my driver up to Waipu. She was waiting exactly as she said she would be at the airport, had wonderfully comfortable and clean car, drove very safely and was a terrific tour guide telling me all about the country on our way North.
